Well the 2010 World Cup is underway with all of the teams having played at least one game. There has been some decent games although only really a couple of what I consider high quality games (Argentina and Germany).
What catches my attention is Spain once again finding a way to flop. Granted it is only one game and with 2 wins they will still go through (although making their lives a little harder) but to watch yesterday's game was disappointing. Let's be honest, Spain completely dominated possession (like 70-30) and but together tons of passes, but couldn't generate really any quality chances at the net... and when they did get through, they found ways to mess up their shots. The best chance was hitting the crossbar, and that from 25 yards on a perfectly struck ball which is as much luck as skills sometimes. I think they need to play with a little more urgency in the last third. Pretty passing and possession is great but you can't win if you don't score. And what was with the defending on the goal.... they looked like keystone cops around the ball. Once again it was not meant to be, b
